This Week’s Mood-Lifting Elixir 🎧 🥁

Just FYI, I didn’t intend to bum you all out with that rainy day posting the other day, but Mousie wanted to express her love to me, even when I’m feeling ‘bloo’. I’m likely not the only one who needs that from time to time, and it’s clear to me that Mousie has unconditional love for ‘everyone’, so, it behooved me to put the video clip out there for those rainy days when you might also need it.

After receiving a timely Mr. Roger’s quote, printed in Mousie’s trademark pink 'paw', Mousie and I cuddled by the window and binge watched Mr. Rogers videos on my phone. Our viewing somehow gravitated toward drum montages and ultimately, to my favorite band, Rush. While watching the video for ‘Time Stands Still’, Mousie expressed some confusion about artistic intent, and exhibited behaviors of spatial disorientation. Despite it possibly being the worst music video ever, she concluded that it was ’whimsically wonderful’. Here’s a link to that video for your weekend enjoyment.
